Minor prophet - A minor prophet is a book in the Minor Prophets section of the Hebrew Bible, also known to Christians as the Old Testament. Twelve individuals have had their names attributed to a section of the Hebrew Bible which has become known as the "Books of the Minor Prophets" or more often known as the "Minor Prophets".
